Light weight fixings
In addition to impact fixings and self-drilling anchors for plasterboard, there are also Nylon Anchors with or without a collar, featuring an open anchor body with anti-rotation wings. These are typically used on harder surfaces such as hollow bricks or concrete, but they also perform excellently when applied to plasterboard. The expansion required for tensile strength occurs by screwing in the appropriate self-tapping screw.
